　　根据哈洛德．罗宾斯的原著改编，讲述白人与印第安的混血青年千里寻仇，逐一解决杀死他父母的三名枪手。本片是部典型的美国西部复仇影片，内容无甚新意，导演亨利．哈撒韦的手法略嫌沉闷，但史蒂夫．麦奎因、卡尔．莫尔登等演员在本片的演出都非常不俗，使得本片仍有不少的观众群。

As evidenced by such commentary, A Public Prosecutor and a Teacherenjoys greater recognition for its historical value as the only surviving silent movie in Korea than for its artistic or technical aspects.
